After seven years of our daughter begging for one, we finally decided to get a dog. After doing our homework, the Havanese breed was the dog we wanted, so we were thrilled to find out there was a local breeder. The Brown's aren't just any breeder; it was apparent from the first time we met them that this was a calling and passion. During the entire adoption process they were very accommodating. They actually delivered Joey to our home, along with a supply of food, toys and kennels. Colleen tolerated so many questions from me (and still answers any question I have over email). The Browns are completely engaged in this process, which made for a smooth and joyful transition for us and our puppy. We feel like they are part of the extended family!
